Award Winning Director Byron Hurt, ManUp's Jimmie Briggs, and Dr. Chris Emdin will look at the underlying themes of Hip-Hop, from Masculinity and Homophobia to Gender Equality, from the Boogie Down Bronx to the streets of Chicago. What is the state of Hip Hop? And how can educators utilize the art form of our generation to empower students?
