Sierra Leonean youth attends “Man up” campaign in South Africa
At the on going international FIFA football tournament in South Africa, a group of concern youths in the African region are presently in the South Africa city of Johannesburg for the MAN UP PIONEERS GLOBAL SUMMIT. The purpose is to activate youths worldwide to stop violence against women and girls and the youth’s uses the campaign to stop violence during the world cup from the July 5th to the 11th when the final match of the world cup is going to take place.

New Global Initiative will address Violence Against Women
Many well-intentioned international organizations go in and say, ‘This is what we’re going to do — this is the way to fix the problem,’” noted Briggs. “But we’re going to be asking young people what they think will work and how we can help support them with our guidance as mentors.
